Peugeot’s secret…the 308cc
There is secret news that a new CC might be joining the Peugeot line-up - the 308cc.
The newly-released Peugeot 308 was just only released in September 2007; with it’s larger interior space and a choice of lively engines to wet your appetite, it’s the extension of the well established 307 but with funkier styling, and bulges transforming the look of the 307 into an aggressive but elegantly-tuned machine.
With the 308’s current styling, clever on board technology and rising sales, the 308 CC will surely be a success.
There is no definitive answer and this is currently only a rumour so we may never see a CC version, but Peugeot are planning to release an SW version to it’s model range. Don’t tell anybody just yet; it’s a secret

Peugeot 207cc landing in Spring 2007!
Peugeot have added an offcial section for the 207cc to their peugeot.co.uk website featuring everything you need to know about Peugeot’s sexy new baby cabriolet convertible, including some excellent 360 degree animated tours!
The 207 CC will go on sale in March 2007 and prices will be announced nearer the date.

Peugeot’s Guide to Looking Cool in a CC
The following tongue-in-cheek guide to summer cool is taken from Peugeot’s online Instant R@pport Magazine.
Of course… we also have our own guide right here!
1. Learn The Rules
Naturally, theres a style bible to obey. Get used to driving s-l-o-w-l-y with your elbow on the door. Never acknowledge admiring waves. Just adjust your big red sunglasses ever so slightly and glance away
2. Use your head
Don’t waste the money you’ve just spent on a stylist, make-up artist and hairdresser. Always keep your locks in place with well chosen headwear. Summer is the time to review your hat collection, so spread it out then burn anything that’s been knitted or made by a friend.
3. Carry it off
Always phone ahead to make sure there will be enough porters to handle your luggage. Be considerate and buy luggage on wheels, and remind yourself of home by choosing British designer bags.
4. Be Famous
Arriving in a pugcc can cause problems - notably how to get from the car and through the hotel lobby without being photographed. Get your own back on the paparazzi by turning the cameras on them. (Quick tip, never shoot footage of yourself in the rear view mirror while driving your cabriolet).
5. Be Cool
The cc is refined, stylish and offers the comfort of a coupe as well as the excitement of open-top motoring. The roof opens or closes in about 25 seconds, and you can choose from three powerful petrol engines or the responsive and economical HDI diesel when you need to make a get-away.
New 307cc Hybride showing @ Motorshow
If you’re heading to the Motorshow at the ExCel Center in London this week, be sure to check out Peugeot’s new 307cc Hybride concept car.
Depsite looking like a standard 307cc, the Hybride (which is the first of it’s kind EVER) features a parallel Diesel/Electric hybrid engine that gives it’s users a whopping average of 83.1mpg, which is a 28% improvement over the standard HDII engine!
