Peugeot 206CC Owners Club Bluewater Meet 10th August 2003 - www.PUG-CC.com
A scorching
sunday morning awaited us all who attended the peugeot 206cc meet at bluewater.
I had a lovely drive through roadworks and an accident ridden M25 (you
gotta love british motorways) but was a perfect day for it being a 206CC
owner. Somehow i got there on time meeting up with MR_AWOL and his wife,
along with ben and his girlfriend.
Eventually
some more CCs turned up after finding the correct car park (i did say
house of fraser not john lewis :-p) So the line up had charlotte and her
friend laura in the lowest CC with lovely purple neons and about 25 subwoofers
;). Ben was the tearaway with a non silver CC. Jason aka samwise also
put in an appearance supporting the local meet, Nick aka
hertscruiser and his shopaholic girlfriend, Jean and her two daughters
oh yeah and meeeee.
First job of the afternoon was move the cars to the underground carpark cause it was a scorcher of a day. Once inside bluewater it was a case of find a bar to get a drink. After a lap of the downstairs we find the bar right next to the house of fraser (where we started) D'OH!!! A few points about the bar we went to......
1) Not everyone in
england speaks spanish so having spanish signs dont help people looking
for the toilets
2) Dont ask where the toilets are cause you will be sent too the kitchen
3) If having a coke expect a "slice" of lemon the size of a
small country in it
4) Dont sit on the bar stools if you dont have a low centre of gravity
eh charlotte ;)
5) If going there you must have correct change or prepare to wait 20 mins
whilst they go get change for the till
After we
were rehydrated we headed to the shops :o) YAY!!!! O'neill, freespirit,
quiksilver here I come :-D
We all did our bits of shopping, I ended up with a very nice pair of trainers
and charlotte with a nice skirt which was in the sale i'll have u know,
not that there was much point of reducing it by 0.00005% LOL.
Once I spent all my money I headed back off home with Nick following me
all the way permenantly in my rear view
mirror was a nice sight to have on the drive back
It was a great day, cheers to all that came and I hope to see ya again soon. Thanks to nick for the long pic.
