Thorpe Park CC Meet 2003 - Report by Erm
My day started at 6.30am and left home for the 5 minute drive to South Mimms services at 7.30 to meet up with Adrian, Burge, Matt B and Dawn and Ells. On the M25 we stopped off to pick up Michelle and her sister Steff and we all convoyed down to Sainsbury’s. There we met up with the rest of the gang and after some people went and bought some maccy d brekkie (yuuummmmmm sausage n egg mcmuffin) we were all set for the 2 mile drive to Thorpe Park. Once there the parking attendants seemed pretty confused by all the CCs "oh look there’s another one, and another one, and another one" *rolls eyes* We all parked up to some funny looks from everyone else lol. Then the long queue to get inside the park, and long queues were the theme of the day. Some of the "HARDCORE" lot went on colossus and nemesis inferno first, whilst the less hardcore of us went on loggers leap.
Then off we went to meet the surprise special guest... MATT THE OZZIE and his friend Leanne. Off to KFC for lunch and then the hour long queue to get on tidal wave where we got absolutely drenched. Back to loggers leap for the second run with the others who went on nemesis instead the first time. Conversation here deteriorated to absolute filth although i was in hysterics for the whole hr we were queuing up. Then we decided enough was enough and headed off to the pub after rounding up all the people we could. Then at around 6ish some of us who had further to travel left.
